Summer Concert Series 2010
In recognition of the 125th anniversary of the Cornish Arts Colony our 2010 concert programs will include work composed by or related to members of the Cornish Colony.
All concerts begin at 2:00 p.m. in the Little Studio with the exception of the July 11th 125th Celebration of the Cornish colony.
July 4 Rogers and Millican – flute, horn, piano perform music from Saint-Gaudens lifetime
July 11 noon to 4:30 p.m. Heritage Brass Ensemble – Celebration of the 125th Anniversary of the Cornish Colony at the Blow-Me-Down Farm on route 12A across from the Saint-Gaudens National Historic Site
July 18 The 5th Annual Rosamond Edmondson Memorial Concert – Ceciliana Chamber Soloists program includes a Bach Cantata and Emily Dickinson Songs by Arthur Farwell
July 25 House Blend and Cantoria – Vocal ensemble and a sister ensemble from France perform a wide variety of music
August 1 New England Piano Quintet – performance of quintets by Amy Beach and Arthur Whiting
August 8 Andrew and Gail Jennings – violin and piano
August 15 The Fischer Duo – cello and piano
August 22 North Country Chamber Players – “Amy Beach in Words and Music” with the New Hampshire Poet Marie Harris
